see the world. Then people began to say, wait a 
minute, if you put this to the test experimentally, 
which is very difficult by the way, does it stand 
up? Does this guy really know what he’s talking 
about? I mean, he says that the picture on the 
picture tube is a picture that is being projected 
through  instead of a picture on. It’s not really true. 
The picture is composed by a number of pixels on 
the screen, just how a bunch of grain things are 
reflected off a movie screen. He’s got that wrong 
technically but not metaphorically. But how you 
deal with that metaphor is another question, and
